Duration: 3 days
The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is an architectural framework introduced first in the 3GPP Release 5, with incremental functionalities added in later releases. IMS is a service delivery platform that facilitates fixed mobile convergence (FMC) and interworking between an all IP core network and external legacy switching networks as well as IP networks. It assumes renewed importance in the provisioning of Voice over LTE (VOLTE) networks. This course provides participants with a concise picture of IMS covering architectural design, functionalities, key protocols, signal flow, security, charging and applications.
Who will Benefit:
Staff working in Technical disciplines and interested in acquiring knowledge of the architecture, operation and implementation of IMS
Knowledge of TCP/IP and SIP
Mode of Delivery:
Instructor led classes, multi-media simulations, demonstrations, and tutorial exercise.
