Course Description:

Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a scalable, protocol independent transport mechanism that provides benefits of traffic management, reliability and high speed switching. MPLS can encapsulate packets of various network protocols and supports a range of access technologies, including T1/E1, ATM, Frame Relay, and DSL. This course provides an insight into the MPLS technology based on standards approach. Topics covered include traffic engineering, QoS, SLA, VPNs and integration of MPLS application components.
