Duration: 3 days
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a scalable, protocol independent transport mechanism that provides benefits of traffic management, reliability and high speed switching. MPLS can encapsulate packets of various network protocols and supports a range of access technologies, including T1/E1, ATM, Frame Relay, and DSL. This course provides an insight into the MPLS technology based on standards approach. Topics covered include traffic engineering, QoS, SLA, VPNs and integration of MPLS application components.
Who will Benefit:
Staff working on transport and core networks, interested in acquiring skills in MPLS. Specifically, Project Managers, System Engineers, Consultants will find this course useful.
Participants are expected to have basic understanding of different technologies used in WANs and LANs including IP, ATM and Ethernet.
Mode of Delivery:
Instructor led classes, multi-media simulations, demonstrations, and tutorial exercise.
